This recipe has saved me money.
It has helped with but my sweet tooth.
It’s a recipe that I’ve used for years and have changed along the way.
Everyone’s style of Oatmeal is different. I have several dozens preference myself.
This is one of them.
Oatmeal w/ Cinnamon & Raisins.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup of Quick Oats
- ¼ cup water
- ¾ cup Soy Milk (Vanilla Flavor)
- ¼ cup Raisins
- 1 tsp Dark Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp 1 Natural Sugar Alternative
- French Vanilla Extract
- Pure Ground Cinnamon
- (crushed nuts like walnuts also work well)
Directions:
1. Pour Quick Oats into a bowl
2. Pour ¼ cup water and ¾ cup soy milk into the bowl
3. Add a small drop of French Vanilla Extract and stir
4. Add ¼ cup raisin and nuts if desired
5. Add 1 tsp of Dark Brown Sugar & Sugar Alternative and stir
6. Add as desired cinnamon and stir
7. Put in the microwave for a minute and 30 seconds, stirring at least once around 45 seconds
8. When finished stir again and add a little more Soy Milk to cool it off

I make mine like that too! Except I stick them in the fridge and eat them the next day
